Information We Collect About You

To provide you with the financial products and services you need to succeed financially, One South bank collects, maintains and uses nonpublic personal information about you on a routine basis.  We do not share out customer information with outside companies for purposes of selling their product and services to you.  We maintain security standards and procedures designed to protect customer information, even after you are no longer a customer of this bank.   We will continue to test and update our technology to improve the protection of our information about you. 

We collect information about you from the following sources: 

• Information we receive from you on applications or other forms

• Information about the transactions that you conduct with us

• Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency

• Information obtained when verifying the information you provide on an application or other forms; this may be obtained from your current or past employers, or from other institutions where you conduct financial transactions  

Parties Who Receive Information From Us

If we do not offer a financial service, such as some insurance products or credit cards, we may establish a joint marketing program with an outside company to offer that service to you.  All such programs are subject to confidentiality agreements to protect our customers’ information.  Under certain circumstances, One South Bank may disclose the information we collect, as described above, as permitted by law. 

We may disclose nonpublic information about you to the following types of third parties.

• Financial service providers, such as insurance companies and mortgage service companies

• Non-financial companies, such as consumer reporting agencies, data processors, check printers, plastic card processors, and government agencies.

Disclosure of Information to Parties That Provide Services to Us

In order for us to conduct the business of the bank, we may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to nonaffiliated third parties for the purpose of processing and servicing.
