Our History
OneSouth Bank, formerly Bank of Early was established in April 1941 in Blakely, Georgia is proud to be your local community bank serving Blakely, Georgia and the surrounding area. In 2019, in order to bring more products, services, and continuity of brand we changed our name to OneSouth Bank. Our Directors and Staff remain the same, while we broaden our scope of service beyond the borders of Early County, Georgia to better serve our existing and new customers. As business has continued to grow, OneSouth Bank has expanded with three additional offices. In 1998, we opened in Dawson, Georgia, until April 2021 when the office was relocated to Leesburg, GA to serve a larger area for our growing customer base. In September of 2011 we opened a Loan Production Office in Macon. In February 2015, OneSouth Bank in Macon, Georgia became a full-service bank. In March 2023 we opened a second Macon location on the corner of Poplar and 3rd Street in the thriving downtown area.
